After review of expose infant cohort register and infected infant CCM register, alot of gaps were identified. Mentoring was done on close follow up of expose infants from enrolment to when the child is graduated from the cohort. emphasis was made on the collection of PCR 1 at 6 weeks and at 9months for PCR 2. Especially now that there is availability of DBS, a line list of children still pending PCR 1 and 2 was done with her and she was asked to call the parents and take an appointment with them for sample collection. Results received but not documented both in the POC and cohort register, she asked to update the registers with proper documentation
The infected infant cohort register was also reviewed with alot of gaps and she was asked to update the register and document all VL results of children in the files and register.
